I actually made a post about Theodora on another site, too! (: I think Theodora's quite nice. I was just like you - I didn't know what I thought of it, until I really considered it. I like the nicknames Thea or Dora (pretty common indeed) and also like names such as Theodosia/Dorothea/etc. Anyhow. I liked Theodora Capucine, Theodora Josephine, Theodora Clemence, and Theodora Cecily. (:

I know a 19-year-old Theodora! Her father calls her Theodora, but the rest of her family and all her friends have been persuaded to call her nothing but Theo. No clue if she's got a mn or not: if she has, it will almost certainly not be used in English.

Ahh, Theodora! Teodora (I prefer it without the 'h', if I was going to use it myself) used to be on my list, until a cousin of mine decided to break my heart and use Theodora. I actually cried when I found out, because I had planned to use Teodora or Dorotea in the future, and because it's similar, Isidora may have to come of the list too...You've probably gathered by now that I adore it, and these are the combo's I like, and my fav's have a * next to them
Theodora Agnes - glad to see Agnes!
Theodora Alice
Theodora Charlotte
Theodora Clémence
Theodora Léontine - Theodora Lenore would be nice as well.
Theodora Lillian
Theodora Lucille
Theodora Lucy
Theodora Mathilde* - probably my fav along with ...
Theodora Sylvie* - so sweet!
Theodora Vivienne* - ... this one!

I don't think I need to mention that this is one of my longtime favorites, and very likely the name I would use for a daughter. A friend of mine and I have long planned to have a child together, but not yet. When we do, if it is a female, her name will definitely be Theodora Catherine, because it honors her brother Teddy, and her sister Catherine, and also happens to be a longtime favorite of mine. We had picked this name when we were in high school and our love for it has not altered. I would adore calling her Teddy or Theo. Actually this friend just had a daughter (Ella Sophia) and I went to the hospital and brought the baby a Teddy bear which we, of course, called Theodora. Her sister Catherine begged her to let Ella's middle name be Catherine, but Caroline replied "No, that is Theodora's middle name," and besides that Catherine and Ella's father do not like each other, so he would not stand for his daughter to have Catherine as the middle name. It worked out rather well actually :)I have also considered Theodora Alice, but I think I need to have a separate child named Alice. From your list, I like/love*:
Theodora Agnes*
Theodora Alice*
Theodora Amabel
Theodora Cecily
