I think it's lovely! I also love Johannes.
as a completely unbiased observer: best name ever ;)
I hate it. It's boring and ugly.
I also dislike that many people seem to pronounce it like Joanna, when it's actually pronounced yo-HAHN-ah.

I dislike it. It's too common here and very boring!
I like it, but I always feel like it should be pronounced yo-HAHN-ah instead of "Jo"
It's really been growing on me. I like it best pronounced jo-HAHN-uh. Very cute.
Johanna Catherine

Eeee!
I love Johanna! I pronounce it like Joanna, with a silent H. I think it's very feminine, has cute nicknames Jo and Annie, is unique (at least where I am), and for me, it honors my dad (John). Also (XD), the DF and I have a special attachment to Sweeney Todd, and the significance lies there, too. The only thing I don't like about it is the possibility of pronouncing it Joe-Hannah. *shudder*

Any middle name ideas for Johanna?
I like it! I prefer Johannah though... only because people say
joe-AN-uh.
