[Surname] The Surname Nar
Does anybody know the origin(s) of the surname Nar?
Amongst many other places that I cannot remember, I have seen it in Turkey, America, and Spain.

The two origins of Nar that I've found are German and Turkish. In the first case, it may be a variant of Narr whose meaning you'll find at http://www.ancestry.com/facts/narr-name-meaning.ashx. Nar is a placename in Turkey so that may be the origin in that case.
