It's interesting how most people perceive it as masculine mainly. The one Rowan I met in real life was female, though of course there's actor Rowan Atkinson, who plays Mr Bean.
It's funny because normally I like my girls names feminine, but I'm drawn to the "boyshness" of Rowan on a girl.
