Oh, I love just Mary! There are a lot of people with Mary or a form of Mary in my family (both of my grandmothers and my sister, for starters), so I'll definitely be using it or some form of it.
My favorite forms/related names/whatever are:
Mara
Marie (though I wouldn't really recommend it as a middle name!)
Marigold
Maris
Maureen
Miriam
Molly
Rosemary

I really like Mara. I like Marie as well, and you're right it is more lovely as a first name nowadays. I also like Miriam and Rosemary. :) Thanks so much!
