[Opinions] Nora(h)
WDYTO Nora / Norah? How do you feel about it as a full name? What spelling do you prefer?
I think Norah may enter our girls' name list. I think it goes quite nicely with our other girls' names (Margaret, Elspeth, Sylvia, Julia) as well as our boys' names (Ezra, Asher, Jonas). I brought it up with DH the other day and he didn't dismiss it. He likes the spelling Norah because "it looks less like Dora." Um... okay.

I love Nora (without the H). I grew up with someone whose older sister had that name (with the H). I didn't think much of it when I was younger, but I love it now. Unfortunately, my husband knows someone very annoying with that name and can never name a child that (I've never met her, but her emails are insane). I also like it as a nn for Eleanor.
It's lovely, especially with your other children's names! I prefer the spelling Nora.
I like it spelled both ways, but slightly more WITH the h.
I like Nora and Norah. I don't really have a preference about the spelling. I quite like it as a full name, but I prefer it as a nickname for Eleanor/Eleanora. Since watching the olympics, I am also really into Torah.
It does go well with all your other names.

I love Nora as a full name but I don't like the Norah spelling.
I love Nora(h). I've come to find that I prefer it spelled Nora and as a nn, but I don't mind it as a full name when spelled Norah.
Nora is lovely. I prefer Nora, but Norah is decent. I agree that Nora(h) sounds nice with Margaret, Elspeth, Sylvia, Julia, Ezra, Asher, and Jonas.
To be bluntly honest... I love Nora, but I despise Norah. They really do feel like totally different names to me, despite just being different spellings.
Nora has such a lovely, classic/timeless, and classy feel to it. Norah...doesn't.
Nora looks soft/flowing and pretty (but still strong), whereas Norah looks choppy and unattractive.
I prefer it as a given/full name, although I do also like it as a nickname.

I really don't understand Nora/h. It sounds like gnawing and people gush about how cute it is, and I don't see it.
That said, I know three Noor's so I'm more accostomed to that. It does fit with your other girls names I guess, and yes it does stand alone as a name in it's own right IMO.
Nora looks neater.
