[Opinions] Annabel
What do you think of Annabel? I think it's really sweet. Do you think Annabel and Annabelle are getting too common?
How would you spell it? Do the different spellings bring up different images? For example an Annabel is more of a sweet little girl to me while an Annabelle is grown up and a bit stuck up :P Would like to know what you think.
Do you know anyone with the name?

Annabelle, like Isabelle etc, just strikes me as too fussy for no reason. Annabel isn't at all common where I live, and I rather wish it was - it's a good name with a long and interesting history.
I think it's sweet(:
I like the name a lot, but I have a sister in law with this name, so could never use it. My fave spelling is without a doubt Annabelle. I think Annabel looks incomplete. I also used to look after a girl with the name Annabelle and to be blunt, she was a spoiled little brat! I don't know how she didn't put me off the name tbh! Annabel in my mind would be a sporty girl and Annabelle would be more of a girly girl.
It's okay... I always think of flowers -- too many flowers! This name is too frilly for my taste, but it's nice anyway. Annabel and Annabelle are not getting too popular. And yes, they do make me imagine different images. Annabel makes me think of a shy and quite little girl, while Annabelle makes me think of the most cheerful person you could think of. (not in a bad way)
I don't know anyone with the name.

I like it, but only spelled Annabel. I don't think I've ever met one.
I love Annabel. It's my second favorite girls' name. The spellings are very different to me - Annabelle is all southern and frivolity and blonde curls where Annabel is a bit more serious.
I don't think it's getting *too* common. It's rising, definitely, but it's not overly popular and I don't see it making the top 100 or anything like that.
I've never met an Annabel.

I've never met an Annabel.
Annabel is darling. I prefer this spelling because of Poe's poem, "Annabel Lee." ("And the moon never beams without bringing me dreams of the beautiful Annabel Lee.")
Two people in my life call me Annabel as a nn -- I'm an Ann. I don't know anyone else, but I'd bet there will be some in the newest generation. Don't worry. I don't see it being the next Emily or Emma. It will rise nicely, but not overly far, in the rankings.
