Is that suppose to be a feminine version of Michael? If so...Michaela, Makayla or Michelle make so much more sense. Mykell/Mykel/MyKell/MyKel just looks silly.

While those make more sense on their own, we want Kellie for a nickname, not Kayla or Shelly. From that standpoint, your suggestions don't work so well.
