Despite the fact that I have an ongoing battle with the vine in my yard, I love the name
Ivy.
To begin with, I have a special thing for feminine "i" names, and short names with more vowel sounds than consonants. So
Ivy has two legs up going in.
Add to all of this the vibrant energy of the name. Names with a "v" sound in them are very popular at the moment. So are names from nature.
Ivy fits the bill in so many ways.
Ivy Catherine is a terrific combination.
Catherine is a little safe as a mn. But sometimes oldies are goodies after all. Are you interested in a few other mn ideas?
