[Opinions] Hans
So I've hated this name since I was 11, mainly because of an association, and today I started wondering: is it really that bad? The Hans that I hated didn't mean any harm by what he did to make me hate him, and the sound isn't that bad. There are others out there too... HolbeinSo WDYTO Hans? Is it that bad?

I like Hans Holbein, so I like it. The thing I worry about is the Han Solo reference that might follow a kid around. Even though it is not the same name, and Han Solo isn't a bad character really. I can just see it.It is not that bad though for sure. I'd take Hans over Jaeden any day.LOL I wrote "Hands over Jaeden".

I dislike Hans, but maybe that's because it's quite dated and 'dusty' here in Sweden. Is the kind of name you parents have, not small children :P
I also dislike it because in Swedish it's also a word meaning "his". The word and the name isn't pronounced the same though....

I personally love the name Hans. I love the connection to Hans Christian Anderson and Hans Matheson. Hans Matheson is a Scottish actor, he's very handsome.

Well, I don't think it's a bad name but it's nothing special. Where I live Hans was the most common masculine given name for decades. It's rarely given to babies these days, probably because it's perceived as dated and not very creative.

I like Hans! I prefer Lars (which I consider similar in style to Hans), though.
