I knew 1 when I was a teenager... It might be workable since it wasn't overdone in its time. Could pair it w/ something cool like Myrna Kaede (rhymes w/ Friday) or w/ something solid and standard like Myrna Kathleen.

I know two Myrnas, both in their 60s ... intelligent, beautiful, excellent company, all the right things. And both Jews for what that's worth. Never met any others. I should like the name better than I do because I like them, but almost any other form of Mary pleases me more. I think a little Myrna would fit in comfortably, and bring some much-needed variety to the Madison hordes.

Myrna is the name of my mom's Cabbage Patch Kid doll from the sixties.

I don't know any, but it's quite a nice name. (And an awful lot prettier than Madison.)

I quite like it - I think it'd be quite refreshing to hear. I do prefer Muirne, though, which is pronounced the same but it's the Celtic form.

One of the people where I work is named Myrna. It's too bad, because she is scary-looking and a scary personality (almost everyone calls her "Myrna the witch", Cruella de Vil, etc - she has crazy hair and very interesting fashion sense) and gives the name Myrna a real bad rap!

I think Myra and Myrtle are prettier than Myrna, but it would totally be cute to meet a little Myrna! I'd be all over that.

I find dated names like Myrna and Lorna to be really unattractive; more hillbillyish than romantic. I don't think Myrna would fit in with all the little Isabellas, Olivias, and Madisons.
