Finn McCool, hero of Ireland! It's not something I'd consider using, but I quite like it. I know a Fin - he's short for Finbarr. Which as a name has been forever ruined for me by a comic strip character called Finbarr Saunders (and his Double Entendres).

Yay! Someone else thinks of Finn McCool. How fun would it be to read a little Finn to sleep with tales of Finn McCool?

And I won't have my beloved Finbarr ruined by any old comic strip character. I won't, I won't. Finbarr is too precious and rare.
