[Opinions] WDYT of Sophronia?
WDYT of Sophronia? I haven't been able to get it out of my head lately and I've often thought that it would be a pretty alternative to Sophia, and the nickname Sophie could still work for it if one would want to use it.

It sounds like some kind of smelly cheese.

It's pretty, but maybe a little too much. I really prefer Sophia.

It's an intersting alternative, but the "phron" combination just seems harsh to my ears. And people (meaning those who don't use BtN) might assume it's made up. "Les yeux sont aveugles. Il faut chercher avec le coeur." -- Le Petit Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupery

I may have only seen this name once or twice (more than likely it was at this site), but I actually think it's quite *cool*. It could really grow on me, I think. But at first glance, it makes me think of the word sophomore, and it also kind of looks like the name of a disease (just in general, not a specific one...lol).

I like your thinking. Sophie is soooo popular, but this is different. She could still go by Sophie, though. The meaning is nice, too. I like it.:)

I like Sophronia! It's pretty, unusual, and very feminine. I would recommend this name to almost anyone!_________________________________________________

Mum to Hayley Anne. :)I prefer Sophie or Sophia as a full name. :)

I think it's over the top.
I have a friend named Saffrona believe it or not.
I think that's prettier.
