I feel like it has both spunk and romantic charm. Of course, if I used Eliza I'd probably just use it on its own rather than as a nn; nothing against Elizabeth, but I think Eliza is capable of standing on its own and I'd exclusively call any daughter of mine named Elizabeth "Eliza," anyhow.
