I'd prefer Lewis Franklin, since you are pronouncing Louis like Lewis.

I'd probably prefer it with the French pronunciation, but that's just me, and it's a very nice combo. Classic - makes me think of saxophones and baseball.

I love it because its modern but classic with a French twist.

I only like Louis pronounced "LOO-ee". I really dislike the Lewis pron.

The flow is nice, and I love the name Louis (either pronunciation). But I'm not a fan of Franklin, sorry. Overall I'd be very happy to see this on a newborn, if only to get the wonderful fn Louis. :-)

Dorky but endearing. I don't think Franklin can be anything but dorky. Not a bad thing but it is definitely the feel I get from it. I like Louis. Lately I have been digging the nickname Lou, mostly as a female name but also for Louis. It's retro but not in a cutesy way like Billy or Susie or whatever. It just has a better edge to it. Like the difference between 1950's bluegrass and a sock hop. I approve!
