Shortly after the arrivals of Aria and Jeremy, Queen Rikku discovered she was pregnant again. When she and King Gippal were told that their new baby boy, Jarek Callum Henry, would not live, they were devastated, not because they had yet to produce a legitimate prince, but simply because they had lost a child.
Rikku wanted to try to have another child immediately, despite her weakened state, but was convinced to wait by her husband.
After three years, Rikku discovered that she was pregnant again. When Thalia Aimee Rose & Melia Cecilia Violet were born, the king was just happy that his wife and children had all survived the ordeal.
Though he longs to have a son with Rikku, he loves his daughters and his son Jeremy very much and it would not matter too much to him if they only ever had daughters (Especially considering the males born on Rikku's side of the family).
Queen Rikku is very troubled by how weakened she becomes after childbirth. She knows something may be wrong and while she wants nothing more than a large family, she is worried that her babies will no longer survive.
The people of the Kingdom of Soleil are worried about their queen. They know that the King and Queen will pick the most suitable heir out of all their children when the time comes (which is how the kingdom has been since it began) so they have yet to worry too much.
