[Opinions] Natalie vs. Natalia
Replies
I like both, but Natalia is the one I would use. Both are pretty, but Natalia isn't as common where I live.
I prefer Natalie, it's sweeter to me. Of course I'm biased because I have a cousin Natalie. We call her Natalia as a nickname sometimes.
I think Natalia sounds slightly exotic without actually being exotic and that bothers me a little though it shouldn't. Natalie is just so pleasant and unassuming a name that I must prefer it against that.

I've always liked Natalie, but lately I've been loving Natalia. It just sounds so classy and beautiful. And the nn Talia is really appealing to me as well. Good choice either way, I'd say.
I prefer Natalia because of the 'a' ending. I have 2 friends with that name. They pronounce it na-ta-LEE-a.
Natalie is better by a bit.
Ok, but why? ;o)
I have encountered both but the girl named Natalie was a nicer person. With names that close in appearance that is the deciding factor.

My childhood best friend was named Natalia so of course I prefer it. I've never liked Natalie much, though. It sounds to hard. Natalia as they flowy-ness at the end.
Just curious- how do you pronounce Natalia? My friend was Spanish speaking and the pronounciation was Nah-TAHL-yah. Is that how you are thinking of it, too?

Yeah, I knew at least three Natalies growing up but not one Natalia ;o)
