It has been two years since the Abneys adopted Leonhard, and now they are ready to adopt their second child, a baby girl named Bianca Antonescu. They went to visit Bianca in Romania, and knew that she was meant to be adopted by them. Right before they were going to adopt Bianca, the Abneys got a call from Josephine's father, saying that in the time they were gone in Romania, Josephine's mother had died. Josie was heartbroken. However, they went through the adoption process and they changed Bianca's first name to "Erika", to honor Josephine's mother.
Leonhard Ignatz Abney
It has been two years since Leonhard was adopted by the new, strange, American family. In that time, Leo has adjusted quite well. He is getting better grades in school, has made a lot of friends, and almost got elected as class president. He was getting quite used to being an only child, that is, until Erika came into the picture. To tell the truth, he felt a bit jealous that she got all the attention. But he knew that Erika was a baby, and that she probably came from a broken household, as well, so his jealousy died down.
