[Opinions] Re: Ethel
There's a sophomore at my high school named Ethel!Almost any name is up for a comeback eventually (except for maybe Cinderella or Barney).Ethel Gertrude is totally Victorian and awesome!
Ethel Maude is a bit simpler than Ethel Gertrude and more to the point.
Ethel Mae is kind of "hipster."
Ethel Christine - combining a Victorian name with a more youthful 70s name would make it more 2010
Ethel Ruth - simple, subdued, but could be pulled offWhat about...
Ethel Mary Linda
Ethel Beatrice
Ethel Annie
Ethel Catherine
Ethel Frances
Ethel Sophie
Ethel Margaret
Ethel Magdalene
Ethel Charlotte
Ethel Elizabeth
Ethel Natalie
Ethel Nicole
Ethel Anna
Ethel Gabrielle
Ethel BenjamineLike any? Also, what about Ethelinda or Etheldreda?

Ethel Ruth is particularly awkward... esp. w/ the l and r so close and the 2 ths... never inflict this on a child who'll be hanging out w/ people from East Asia. (admittedly, I like Ruth on its own)
