[Opinions] Re: Carolann
I never like Ann with no E on it. It looks ... I dunno. Incomplete? to me.I'd spell it as one word if I have to choose between Carol-Ann and Carolann. I'd even more prefer a double first name Carol Ann (which is more honoring in a way, but IMO to honor you don't need the middle name unless you knew her as Carol Ann and not Carol). If I don't have to worry about honoring, I'd rather be Carolanne, though, or better yet, Carolane (I couldn't care less if I had to correct people's pronunciation, and I would even consider pronouncing it cair-uh-lawn).

The person I would want to honour only went by Carol but frankly...I don't really like Carol. Not on its own anyway. I see what you're saying about Ann looking incomplete and while I'd rather use Carolann, I'm not completely opposed to Carolanne/Carolane. I'm on a quest to find different ways of spelling this. Thanks :)
