Tiago and Julianne share a passion for helping the needy so they were happy for the opportunity to adopt a Brazilian orphan. They weren't expecting to get pregnant so soon after the adoption, but it turned out that the new baby was perfect at drawing Caetano into the family and making him feel important and belonging. Carson (a carefully chosen name that is not Portuguese/Brazilian but is easily pronounceable in Portuguese) adores his big brother, and Caetano is very attentive to him.
