[Opinions] Re: Alexandra or Alix

I like the combo Christian Frederik but I want to use Frederik as a first name. Do you think it would be odd for me to use those sort of names? I'm from New Zealand and have English & Scottish history.
They probably will, apparently they have the first name followed by three other names. Other possible names for them to use will be Henrik or Henri and some other names lol. Frederik is Frederik André Henrik Christian so they could use André. They might use one of Joachim's names (Joachim Holger Waldemar Christian). They also could use Valdemar. I think there's a very high chance that he'll be named Christian.

I don't think it would be odd at all! Christian is used in a variety of languages and Frederik is close enough to Frederick that I don't think it would be too far fetched for you to use it, especially as a middle name.
As for the little Danish prince, I'm placing a bet on the names Christian Joachim Waldemar/Valdemar Henrik.

Oooo I'll place a bet too (I wonder who will be closest!)although I can't think of a good combo atm lol, I wonder if they have debates about his name....
I'll start with Christian Henri Frederik André, although I'm sure I'll change my mind lol. Or maybe Christian Henri Joachim Frederik, I sort of like this one more right now....I'm too indecisive!!

I'm wondering if they'll use Frederik. It seems customary for the first sons of future monarchs to receive the names of any royal grandfathers, uncles and a famous ancestor, so they might wait and use Frederik on any future male children.
I'll be very surprised if Mary and Frederik don't use Christian. I was shocked when Haakon and Mette-Marit didn't use Olav, which a lot of people thought the couple was sure to use. Even if they hadn't used Olav, I thought for sure they'd use another family name. No matter, though, because I love Sverre. It's a perfect match for Ingrid. :)

Yeah, Haakon is the heir to the Norwegian throne and Mette-Marit is his wife. Their first born was named Ingrid Alexandra and they just had a little boy which they named Sverre Magnus. I love reading about them. I love all the royal houses, but my favourites have to be the Scandanavian royal families. :)

I like those royals too, although I don't know too much about them. I love their names, I'm getting sick of all the english names being so popular. There's so many Sarah's and Matthew's in my year at school and I have noticed that in the youngest year at my school (year 7, I've just finished year 12, only one more year left for me!) the new names are Jayden & Jamie. I don't like the english royals that much, (even though my country is in the commonwealth). Their names are too boring lol. We don't here much about royals here which is ashame but if there's anything on TV about any royals I usually watch it.
