At the discovery of the archipeligo of islands, Arthur was offered the opportunity to migrate to the Islands and rule over them on behalf of the King. Arthur gladly accepted, but had to retract his pledge as his spoilt wife Emmeline was quite content living the high life in Kriana. The King instead granted influential politician Victor Hamilton the position of Duke of the Islands, a move Arthur highly endorsed.
Arthur believed that if anyone could successfully colonise the islands and keep the Ardelus Empire at bay at the same time, it would be Victor. Yet Arthur was growing weary, as he had it on good authority that King Thibault had heard of Henry's successful mission, and had assembled his army - the Ardelusian's were on their way to the islands. Arthur had briefly discussed the recent developments with the King, but was unsure if Henry was listening to him, or if he was as concerned as he was, and if so, what his course of action would be.
Meanwhile, Emmeline gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Cecilia and, as usual, was her old spoilt self. In fact, Arthur believed Emmeline was growing more narcissistic by the day - the addition of Cecilia added to her gloating. Yet Arthur would have it no other way - he is blinded by love.
