Dear Mother and Father,
I write this letter with such happy tidings. Elizabeth and I have welcomed a child, a son whom we have named Henry Edward Jr, though he shall be referred to as Edward to avoid confusion with myself. Elizabeth has taken well to motherhood and little Edward is a good baby. He looks very much like a Castlecliff with dark brown hair and green eyes, I could not be more proud.
I received a letter from Thomas last week asking assistance to allow him to join us here. I shall speak to the governer as soon as possible to help facilitate this if you approve of the move. I understand that Thomas at only twenty-one is your youngest child mother, so can imagine it shall be hard for you to say good-bye to him. I do promise to look after him should he join us, you have my word. Perhaps you yourselves should consider the move?
From your son with love,
Henry Castlecliff
***NOTE: I changed Henry's age as I decided i'd made him too old...
