I like Charlie, but I'm not too keen on Charles. It has grown on me some lately though.
I also don't mind Matt, but I'm not a fan of Matthew. I can't say that I love the name Matt though.
I don't mind Robby either, but I don't care for the sound of Robert.
Others:
Jack but not John
Kit but not Christopher
Jake but not Jacob
Rick but not Richard
And for girls:
Annie but not Anna or Ann / Anne
Katie, Kate, and Kay but not Katherine
Maggie, Meg, Megan, and May but not Margaret
