Today at the chemist there was a lady calling her son over and over.
At first I thought I misheard her but after the 2nd, 3rd and 4th time of calling him it was very clear she was calling him Kayla.
I am not a fan of the name let alone for a boy.

I really hope it was Kaylor or Kaylan and the way she was saying it just sounded a lot like Kayla, otherwise, poor kid.

I know a boy named Kaylan. That's probably what I would have gone with.
I like so-called girl names on boys, but I'm not a fan of Kayla in general, so... *shrug*

How old was he? Could he have really been a girl? I had a friend named Marquette in elementary school who always got mistaken for a boy because she had short hair...
Kayla's cute for a girl, but not something I would ever use.

I don't like the name in general, but it sounds odd on a boy. Kaylen would have been all right, but Kayla sounds too feminine.

Actually, I do prefer it on a boy.
Same goes with Ruby. I really, really, really hate them on girls. But for some reason I like them more on boys, I guess it is because I'm so tired of them on girls.

Maybe it was short for something like Kaleb? I've heard Kaley for Kaleb before so Kayla isn't much of a streach. I really hope that it's a nn but it's bad either way.
