Years ago I was in an elevator. A five foot tall old man was helping his four and a half foot tall wife into it. He said, "This way
Violet." Once they were gone another woman in the elevator said, "I'm going to have a girl one day just for the pleasure of naming her
Violet." At the time old fashioned names like these weren't in fashion. So it really stuck in my head. I've loved it ever since. That elderly couple in the elevator was just daaaarling.
Violet Prudence? Well, given that
Violet is a color using a noun in the combination can be tricky. "Purple prudence" is what I hear. But I definitely get where you're coming from. And I love that you want to use
Prudence. She doesn't get the love she deserves.
What would I pair with
Violet? Hmmm. How about:
Violet Ginevra (too much "v" sound?)
Violet ImogenViolet AilsaViolet DelphineViolet Katrina Violet IsoldeViolet PhoebeViolet DaphneViolet Zephyrine (as if I'd ever have the guts)
Violet MabelViolet PatriciaViolet AdeleViolet DemelzaViolet RowenaViolet RhonwenViolet MatildaViolet AstridViolet EugenieViolet Isadora Belle (
Violet is adorable, isn't she?)
Violet MarionViolet CordeliaViolet SusannahViolet Dulcinea /
DulcieViolet Cecily
Anything here strike your fancy? Thanks.
