[Opinions] Re: Anselm
in reply to a message by vigdis
I have a special yen for obscure medieval saint names. Obscure to the general public, I mean. Here among namenerds the name is better known.
I'd love to meet a little Anselm. It would make my day. :-) There's the more modern form of Ansel, but somehow that always strikes me as the more cowardly choice. If you're going to do a medieval saint, I say really go for that medieval saint.
Seriously, Anselm is most handsome and I really would love to know that there's a new one running around the planet somewhere. We need more Anselms.
P.S. I love the feminine forms too: Anselma and Selma.
