Awww. I can see the appeal because it *is* quite trendy and I do like quite a few trendy sounds but I'm with you; not so much a fan of the bray sound. Kaelyn would be nicer, but it's not the worst name ever. I think I prefer May, personally, but Mae is pretty cute!

Sorry, but I find "bray" to be an ugly sound. The repeated "ae" just makes it worse.

Ugh. Braelyn is just ugly. Anything with the Bray sound should be reserved for boys names only, if anyone at all.

I never thought of the donkey association, but now I always will! :-) hahaha!
It does seem a bit rhymy, but I do like Mae, and somehow, Kaylin Mae doens't sounds as rhymy, so maybe it's just me?? IDK.... It isn't the worst considering that these Braylyn, Shaylyn names are all the rage right now.

My cousin also has a daughter names Braelyn (though I don't know her middle name). Can't say I'm much of a fan, either (due to the "bray" sound). Although I do love my cousin. :-)

I, too, dislike the "brae/bray" sound. I also like the look of "ae" rather awkward. Not that that comes up a lot, but I believe I've seen a Caemlyn around here. I don't know what it is about that letter combination, but my eyes don't like it.
Mae is cute though. I like Mae, Kae, Rae...
Not sure why they'd double up on the "ae" in Braelyn and Mae. Seems a bit redundant.
