My second son is named Takfarinas (Father Berber). The name is used by Berber people.The name is that of an anchient worrier(Tacfarinas). Some say he was Greek but its only speculation.

Ithink that the name Takfarnas was an epithet given by the Romans to the berber rebel and it's origin from the old berber language "Iceffaren" which means Thieves.
By analogy to the Chafarinas Islands off the coast of Morocco, called by the local berberz in the Rif Iceffaren or Takfarinas,with the same meaning of Thieves.
