Yes, it's just for fun. I'm not sure what you mean by 'ah' or 'a' though. I pronounce it AL-mə, with the AL like the word 'owl'. Anyway, I like AlmaBryony (prefer it spelt Briony though) and AlmaSylvia :)
Glad you liked the combos. I've heard Alma pronounced with a definite, short "a" sound, as in Alfred and Albert. That's what I was trying to avoid. It sounds as though we are saying it the same way. :-D
