[Opinions] Re: Patricia
One of my sisters is named Patricia. I like the full form very much, it's so soft and pretty. Of course, it is dated, and I'm sure you're aware of that, and when it was popular, it was very very popular. I think it's the second or third most common name in the US for women of all ages. My sister is always called Patty, but I don't like that nickname. Tricia is a nicer nickname, in my opinion, and perhaps you could get away with the full form---but I've never known a Patricia who goes by the full form. It would be---dare I say it---refreshing to see a newborn or a child Patricia these days. But I think it has to wait longer for a comeback. My sister is Patricia Jeanne--what, you say? You don't go for filler middle names? Well, I like Patricia Caroline, Patricia Juliet, and Patricia Verity. Also, Patricia Hazel, since Hazel was my grandmother's name.
