Isaak and Catherine were married last year. Catherine is from England. She came to Bial as a young child when her parents died, leaving her an only child and an orphan. When she was in her early teen years, Catherine began working for Isaak's family as a maid of sorts to Isaak's youngest sister, who is Catherine's exact age. Catherine became the best friend of Isaak's sister by the time they were both sixteen. By the time Catherine was seventeen, she and Isaak had developed feelings for each other. Each hid their feelings from the other, until Catherine was nineteen. It was then that the two of them began to court, and Isaak's parents actually approved! They were married when she was twenty.

Isaak has been studying music. He is currently a very influential musician around his town. His fame is growing. Many people say that he composes beautiful pieces and plays fantastically. Isaak plays many instruments.

Catherine herself is quite influential in and around the town they live in. She had grown up painting and creating. Many wonderful works of art completed solely by Catherine may be seen around the town. Also, many of her quilts and pieces of sewing may be seen in shop windows and in homes. The income of both Catherine and Isaak makes them quite wealthy.
