I'm in the process of writing a story and I like to keep my characters names as realistic as possible. However, after geeking out over X-Men comics, I came across a character named Jesse Bedlam. The name was of course fake, but I still fell in love with it.

I was just wondering if anyone knew if Bedlam actually existed as a surname.
