Nikolaus and Alexandra were very pleased with the birth of their second daughter, however her birth was overshadowed by the death of the dowager Queen one week later. Alexandra attended the funeral alone, as the King sent Nikolaus to be an ambassador in England. Alexandra tried to form a request for her and the family to go with him, but it was denied. She was devastated that Nikolaus missed the birth of their daughter, and that she doesn't know when she will see him again.
