[Facts] Henrietta
I found that Henrietta is the feminine form of Henry, meaning "home ruler". Nevertheless, I was woundering if there are any famous or infamous women who bore this name in history. Please advise.

Try English history for Queen Henrietta Maria, a French princess who married King Charles I of England but was lucky enough not to get her head chopped off in the Civil War (he did!) - she returned to France. She was a Catholic, as you would expect French royalty to be, and one of the issues of that war was whether Charles could be considered a "real" Protestant in view of his marriage - which was an arranged one, of course.Henrietta Maria was too much of a mouthful for the Royalist armies, who charged into battle yelling "Queen Mary!" instead.
