I love
Beatrix. It's on the usable list for DH and me, though we'd probably use it as a mn. I like the meaning/history of the name - a variant of
Viatrix ("traveler") influenced by
Beata ("blessed") which ends up meaning "blessed traveler" which is an idea I like. My husband is also a bit of a Latin geek and likes the -trix ending. It's also a nice blend of spunky and classic, as is
Beatrice.
Beatrix and
Charlotte sound good together, and
Charlie and
Bea would be adorable.
