I like Meadow but only as a middle name. I remeber seeing the name Meadow Katherine in a BA once and liking it.

It's a GP for me. I like it, but I don't think I'd use it. I saw a little girl with this name on a TV show once. She was a cutie for sure, and I always think of that when I hear this name. I just don't think it would age well.

I like it though it's not something I'd probably ever use. Eddie was the only nn I could come up with... or just Em/M..... or Emmy if the MN started with an EMeadow Evangeline

I don't much like it as a name myself, but it is a pretty sound and has a pleasant connotation (meadows = nature, beauty, peace).Meadow Lark was the first thing to pop into my head, because of the bird, but that might be a little weird? lol But the L sound afterwards does roll of the tongue nicely.Meadow Leah

Meadowlark would make a neat GP mn, no? Not for Meadow, of course. Just to keep in a back pocket. :-)

It is pleasant :) I love the sound of it, it's like something from a fairytale.

I love Meadow too. Sometimes I think I'm the only one. It's good to know someone else sees her good qualities too. :-)Obviously, it has a pleasant meaning / mental picture. Plus, I love the sound of it, especially the way it ends in an "o" sound. I love feminine names ending in an "o" sound. Nns? Hmm. I've never really thought about that one. Dodo isn't going to work. :-P Edie? Eddie? Anything but another noun, especially a botanical one, for a mn:Meadow Aurelia ("o-RAY-lee-uh")

To me, it will remain heavily associated with the character from the Sopranos. I remember her full name is Meadow Mariangela, which I always thought was a really neat mix of naming styles. I like the name, and I like girls' names that end in -o, just on principle.
