Benedicte has worked in the castle kitchen since he was 12, and two years ago was promoted to the head cook when the old one decided to open a restaurant. A year ago, he married Daphne, the queen's lady's maid. Benedicte is very liked by the king, who knows that he is a good cook and excellent at following orders. Daphne is looked up to by the other maids. She always knows what to say when something is missing or someone is late. The two are very loyal to Orlais and the royal family.
