Xoë Kelani Lola is the baby sister to Xavier, Xander, and Xane. WDYT? I like the idea of the Xs, but I think it's a bit too much on Xane and Xoë, or at least the latter because there are a million ways to spell Zoe. Personally, I would have preferred something like Xanthe that wasn't changing the spelling of an existing name. Other than the kids having to spell out their names whenever someone asks, I kind of like it (not for me, just knowing another family with it).

The names Xavier, Xander, Zane, and Zoe all have similar popularities too, which I though was interesting.

I like Xavier and Xander, but Xane and Xoë seem contrived to me. I prefer Zane and Zoë. I don't really see why they felt compelled to give all of their kids names that begin with the same letter. It seems unnecessary to me, and changing the spellings of names just to accommodate the theme just seems like completely overdoing it.

Xanthe is lovely. I think it's a bit too close to Xander to use in the same sibset, but in general, I agree that it's preferable to Xoë.

Believe it or not, I saw a BA (or it was on a list of BAs someone posted) for a Xoe sometime last year. Considering how many different spellings of Zoe I've seen, I found it hilarious. People always have to one-up other parents in kre8tivity, eh?

I actually don't mind the use of the letter X in place of the letter Z. - in genral

BUT

In Xoe it aint cool. Everyone will just spell it Zoe or Zoey and that will just stink. It's too popular to change the spelling without it just being a silly -and lame- attempt at "different". Xane seems kind of pointless but at least it isn't in the first name slot...

Oh I forgot to add the and! The brothers are Xavier, Xander, AND Xane. I'll go fix that haha.

ohhhhh, well, in that case I don't hate Xane. It isn't my fave but I can see why they went with it in light of the fact it's a sib set. I thought it was one brother named "Xavier Xander Xane" hahaha! Maybe it was that I read it wrong, sorry!

I still feel the same about Xoe though. She's the only girl they have so they could have used a bunch of less popular names that begin with the "Z" "S" or "X" sound and used X as the first letter.

It's a bit much. Especially Xane and Xoe--those are Just yucky. I actually know a sibset Zane and Zoe.

I agree.

Love Xavier. Zoe is lovely, but I hate Xoe. Man, that is one restrictive letter theme. If your gunna go down that path, at least pick a letter that gives you a decent bank of names to work with.
