When I saw it I thought RAY mun duh. As for nicknames I came up with Ray, Moon and Mundy.

I don't like it. I'd say it like RAY-mun-dah. Rai is an obvious nickname, or Raya.

Either Ry-MOON-da or Ray-MUN-da ... I wouldn't mix those syllables.
That is, I would not be inclined to say Ray-MOON-da or Ry-MUN-da. Those seem "wrong" to me. Dunno why.
At any rate, stress on the MUN/MOON syllable always.
