[Opinions] Nella

I've only ever known it as a nn for Petronella, or the objectionable Pieternella. It's definitely preferable to either of those, but I'd still prefer it to be a nn - just a universally used one.
It would be fine as a full name, but I like it as a nickname for something longer, Ornella in particular.
I don't like it. I think Nell is better.
I really enjoy the breezy delicateness of Nella, though I've yet to embrace it as a given name. If I had to choose a longer version, I'd probably opt for Petronella.
I also love Nell.
I also love Nell.
It's alright. It kind of reminds me of Nutella the spread.
I love Nella! It was my great grandmothers name. It is strictly full name for me.
However, I suppose it could be use as a nickname for: Helen, Ellen, Eleanor, Penelope, Fenella, Donatella, Cornelia, Petronella and Prunella.
ETA: Antonella, Donella, Ionela, Janella, Marianela, Nelda, Sanela and Nelinha.

I like it. It's simple and sweet, the same feelings I get from names like Amelia, Emily, and Mabel.
I think it could stand alone, but I also like it as a nn for Petronella.

I like Nella, but I don't love it. It seems incomplete to me. So I guess I'd prefer it as a nn. Not sure what for, though...
I adore it
It is my top girls name at the moment and has been for awhile (Penelope nn Nella). It is also my favorite nn for Eleanor.
I think it can definitely stand on its own as well and I would use it as such if I couldn't convince a SO to use Penelope or Eleanor, but I do prefer it as a nn.
The author of a blog I read has a little girl named Nella Cordelia which I think is a perfect little combo.

Reminds me of Nutella
I would prefer having a full name if it were for myself.
