I like Cian quite a bit, but I'd probably never use it just because it would be horribly butchered (misspelled and mispronounced) in the U.S. Along the same lines, I also like Cillian & Ciaran for boys and Ciara for a girl (but the last is used in the U.S. and pronounced like Sierra...blech).
I LOVE so many Rose names, including Rose (but as a fn only!). Others, in order of how well I like them right this minute :b ...

I agree, it irked me so much when I found out the singer, Ciara, pronounces it 'see-AIR-uh'. What the heck?!
I can forgive people for not knowing how to pronounce a name they see; but not for giving their own child a name, without learning how it's said first! *Fumes*
