I agree that it's not my style, but I say if you really like it, then go for it. It's certainly not a horrible name or anything.
For middle names (just off the top of my head) i like....
Vanessa Joy
Vanessa Paige
Vanessa Bree
Vanessa Marie (i know Marie is used a ton, but it's really pretty with Vanessa)
