The name Vesta is starting to grow on me. I kinda like the sound of it, and I especially love the connection to Roman mythology. However, I wonder if the fact that it contains the word "vest" makes Vesta unappealing.

What do you think of Vesta?

I just think of the brand of poor quality ready meals which were popular here in the 70s and 80s. They were dried and you added water I think. Haven't eaten one since I was a child on camping holidays. I kind of have fond memories of them but they don't have a good reputation these days! So, it's unusable as a name here, in my opinion.

I think of adding -burg to Vesta because it reminds me of yet another small town I have visited.

Yeah, the word 'vest' being in there doesn't help. I don't care for it.

I may be alone in this, but I actually think the "vest" part is what makes it so quirkily charming. I think it has hipster appeal. I mean, hipsters love vests, right? Hestia is nice too, but it doesn't have the burly energy of Vesta. I'd use it!

If it didn't remind me of the word "vest" right away, I would probably like it more. I think it's refreshing. I'd rather meet a little girl named Vesta than another Madison, Addison, Bryleigh, etc.

I like it. I sort of prefer Hestia, but I can see the appeal of both. I don't really mind the "vest" part.
