I substituted at summer school today, and one of my students was named Imos (Pronounced EYE-mus).
I have searched on several baby name sites, and can't find any mention of it.
Have any of you ever heard of it? WDYT?
I asked him if he knew where his parents got his name from, and he said he had no idea! He obviously isn't a name nerd, because if my parents had named me Imos, I'd definitely have had the story behind it.
