One of my best friends name is Sukie, just Sukie it's not short for anything. She get's a lot of people assuming she's saying Susie when she introduces herself but other than that she gets many compliments on it. So yeah I think it can stand on it's on right.

It definitely can't stand alone, it's far too nicknamey. I personally hate it but that's just my opinion. If I was to use it, I would definitely spell it with a U rather than double O - Sookie looks too much like Spooky!

Are you pronouncing this to rhyme with "rookie" and "nookie" or like "kooky" and "dookie"?

I hate the name Sookie. It's just really ugly and stupid, imo. BUT I think it's a viable nickname for an S name, really.

NM, I think I'm going to go with Seraphine with the nn Sukie :) .

I prefer it as a nickname, but I think Sukie can stand on its own. Sookie looks even more like a nickname, so I wouldn't recommend it as a full name.
