[Opinions] Re: Hildegarde and Hildegard...
I prefer Hildegarde and yes you may be crazy for liking it! My DH's grand-aunt's name was Hildegarde (they immigrated to the US from Germany). I have no prefernce to this name because it sounds so harsh. I guess I do not want to think of a little girl as a "guard" which is what it sounds like. I dont like Hilde much either.
