Gideon and Octavia waited a few years before trying to get pregnant again after Maude for several reasons; they wanted Maude to get a lot of one-on-one time, Octavia and Gideon both needed time to get used to being parents, and with Octavia so young they could afford to wait. Five years later, the public were overjoyed to find out that the Queen was pregnant again. When she gave birth only a few months after the announcement, people couldn't believe it... TWINS! Beatrix Ellen Henrietta Jane and Lucia Joan Susanna May were born healthy and perfect, named after their grandparents. Octavia wants another baby soon, she loves being a mother and it'd also be convenient to prevent the twins squabbling one day over who gets to rule.
