[Opinions] Leo and Delphi
My #1 favorite boys' name at the moment is Leo. I love the sound of it, I love the history about it, everything about it just works for me. However, I am aware that it's becoming steadfastly more popular, and I'm vaguely aware of the fact that it seems to be incredibly popular in Europe ight now. Do you think it will continue to rise? Enough so that I should be deterred from using it? At the moment Leo has just broken the top 200, which doesn't bother me, but I suspect if it broke the top 100 I would be bothered by it. How many little Leos do you know? What do you think of Leo in general?Secondly, what do you think of Delphi? I recognize the fact that it's a bit out there. It seems to me as if it could be a far less common alternative to Sophie. There was a British actress named Delphi Lawrence who made her film debut in the 50's, so there's at least some precedence for it to be used as a name. Is Delphi too crazy as a name? What do you think of it? I'm not at all bothered by uncommon names, since my own real name has never been in the top 1000 in the U.S, but I wouldn't want to give a child a name that was so out there that it became burdensome for them.
